ZZZZZZZZZ.........

I was going to blog about the Midnight Showing of New Moon but I am so tired I can't put two coherent thoughts together....Maybe after some sleep.

I will say...... I heart Jacob. Don't worry Mr.T knows and he is o.k with that.

I see you

I see people visit my blog. I know you are here. Feedjit tells me when you arrive and when you leave. I am obsest yes it is sad. Pitiful really. Why do I care that very few leave comments? Do I say nothing comment worthy? Is there something wrong with the comment button? My mothers doesn't even leave comments.

To repeat what my father always says"Noody likes me everybody hates me I'm going to go eat some worms."

O.k. that was a guilt trip or a ploy for comments which ever works....I am pitiful aren't I?

*Note to Siami you rock the comment department :)

Were on track now

So I went for Girl#3's 6 month check up. We are finally caught up with shots and all. I think my insurance company was going to run out of paper with all the reminders I was getting about her well checks. I will be on time from now on.

She is 30 inches and weights 20lbs which is amazing because she doesn't eat any food only formula. Hopefully she will start eating real food so we can ween her off the bottle in a month. She definitly does things on her time though.

She is finally crawling at 10 months. She is starting to try and pull her self up. Right now it is only in her crib but soon she will be a walker.

She has 2 teeth completly in and 6 more coming threw. We are thinking this is why she is waking up in the middle of thenight again. I miss my sleep.

If you ask her where her nose is she will point to my nose. She loves teeth no matter who is holding her if she sees them she will try to touch them. Maybe she will be a dentist.

She is a daddy's girl. The minute he walks in the door she starts yelling for him to come get her. All she want's is him till bed time.

She loves to read and play with the older girls doll house and dolls. She is girl through and through.

She is such a joy and she is the happiest and easiest baby ever. There are times when my heart hurts when I think we almost didn't have her. We thought we were done. I am so glad we weren't.

***I am patienly waiting to recieve more photos from the photo shoot my friend did I will post one of those on this post when I get them. (wink wink Mary)

Updated *****I got the photos and the first one was so worth the wait. Beautiful Mary.

Oh ya 72

Ever since we got the Wii Girl #1 has been working on her Wii fit goal. She will occasionally tell me the number and honestly I don't listen. Well today I heard her say "Oh ya 72"(with proud attitude). Then 2 minutes later she said "yep I went up". I then realized she thought that her score was 72 and you should want to get it higher. When I told her it was her Wii fit age we laughed hysterically.

Oh you shot me

Today we went into the Dr. to flu shots for the girls. Girl #3 was the only one young enough for the Swine flu shot so she got 2. I thought I was getting the Flu shot so I told the girls I would get mine first to show them that if you are calm then it doesn't hurt. When we got there I was told they were out of adult shots so the girls were on there own.

As soon as we got to the room Girl#2 started complaining and I knew we were in for it. When it was her turn she started to freak out. I swear her eyes were going to pop out of her head she was screaming so hard. She was pleading with me. I knew that if she calmed down it would not be as bad. I could not console her so I just grabbed her and held her tight. I got her to stop screaming and take a breath right before the shot came and then she looked at me and I asked her if it hurt and she said"no" She didn't even feel it.

After the band aide was applied she was fine. As we left a few of the workers said"oh we heard the baby screaming" I could only laugh and say it was not her but her #2. She then started to get some "sympathy" from other people. They were amused by her dramatics. The nurse asked her if she needed an ice pack and of course that was needed. I am not sure if the arm will have to be removed from all her pain. haha

(Please ignore the big shadow on the side. I am learning my new camera. I may have to "recreate" this picture again)

Girl #1 didn't even flinch and #3 was fine after she got the Binky. I may have to go cuddle the poor little girl with the "hurt" arm. She is so dramatic.

2 Princesses & A Fairy

Between school parties, friend parties and Trick or Treating we had alot of dressing up. My original plan was for the girls to be the 3 little pigs but that was veto's by Snow White wannabes. SO I then decided to make Girls #3 an apple to go with the Snow White theme. Well I am not a sewer so my attempt was horrible. So we switched to 2 Snow Whites and a very cute pink Fairy. I think they turned out adorable.

Our Pretty Fairy on her first Halloween. There was a flower headband that went with this outfit but she wouldn't keep it on.

The girls had party's at school but in my rush to be out the door at 7:30 that morning (we had to run to the store for last minute tiara's) I forgot the camera.
That night we had a Party at some friends house it was fun. Here are the hosts. They dressed as the Adams family.... Their last name is also Adams.

We had yummy food this was my favorite!!!

After seeing the faces of a few brave enough to try this I decided to skip the brains and went for the brownies....It was safer!!!

For Halloween Night we went to some friends house who have a very friendly Trick or Treat neighborhood. The kids went with the Dad's and girl#3 and I stayed with Stacey and her daughter Victoria who is a few months younger then #3. It was to cold to have them out. We handed out candy to many "older"kids who really needed to be home. Anyway when the kids and Dads got back they were pooped so they settled down for a movie and some dry cereal.Try to undo the candy high.

This is how we found Girl #1 and Dominic (9) we were very amused by the huge space between them.(We hope that will continue for at least 15 years :))

We had a great Halloween. I vow next time I will be more prepared so I am not a mad women the morning of school parties. We will see. We hope you all had a great holiday.

7 going on 15

This morning as I was strangling my alarm(phone) begging the time to go back 10 hours so I will go to bed and not stalk a new blog for 2 hours. Girl#1 enters my room and asks me to tighten her pant waist. Here is the conversation.....

#1- Can I wear a skirt?
Mom- No and stop asking me that every morning it's cold
#1- I never get to wear a skirt no more
Mom- Anymore

At this point she flings her pants on my head and replies " no more is a word you know"

Good thing I love her...

Adventure in Pumpkin Bread

I would not claim to be a great baker. I would not claim to be a bad baker. My friend Suzi inspires me to be more domestic in the kitchen so I decided to make Pumkin Bread. I learned a few things after making 4 batches(yes 4)

If you do not put in Baking Soda, your bread will resemble a brick and be horrible.

Libbys Easy Pumpkin Mix IS NOT the same as Libbys Pumpkin Puree no matter what the teenage worker boy at Safeway says.

You can not forget half the oil in the recipe and have it turn out the same.(but it wasn't to horrible)

If the recipe calls for Vanilla pudding and you have used all the ones you bought Chocolate Fudge pudding is just as yummy.

Suzi is my hero!!!

Wii playin

Mt.T has wanted a Wii since they first came out but I am pretty anti-gaming so we never got one. I have since witnessed many people playing and I have come to approve of the Wii soooo instead of going to the fair we decided to put that money towards a Wii. I am so happy we did. We have has so much fun as a family playing and it is great bribery for many things.

Homework is done promptly and with out argument. Bedrooms are cleaned to MY standard. Little girls are so helpful. If it only worked for Daddy's.

The cutest thing is when Girl#3 realized that she didn't have a control to play with. So we improvised and gave her the remote for the Christmas Tree Lights. She thought she could play with the best of them. Till she realized that hers didn't have cool lights on it.

Girl#2 is amazing at Bowling. She was having a hard time playing right handed so she tried it left handed and she has much better control. When she plays she always plays as a lefty.

The girls love Mario Cart that is all they want to play. Girl #1 has better control then me.

I see the family having many fun game nights..anyone wanna join us???

A is for Apple

Girl #2 had a Fall Apple Program for her Kindergarten class. They sang songs about all the different kind of Apples there are. The kids really learned alot about them while having fun.

She then showed us some things she has learned. She had drawn pictures of different people...it was cute to see her"portraits" of her family we all had arms coming out of our heads...very cute. She has such a wonderful teacher. Girl #1 had her also we love her.

After the program we were treated to carmel apples. I have to admit I have never had one. They were yummy.

*****these are not the best pictures of Kennedy but this is what we have.

Mommy Moments!

This morning a few minutes before my alarm was suppose to announce it was time to wake up I felt some movement on my bed. I just continued to keep my eyes closed to see what would happen. I knew it was girl#2 climbing into bed because #1 had to be pulled from bed Mon - Fri and #3 can't get out of her bed. I felt her climb in and pull the covers over then she gently wiggled over to lay right next to me. I opened my eyes to see her looking at me. Then she smiled.

These are the amazing Mommy Moments in my life. I started to think of these moments and knew I needed to write them down. I do not have a good memory and I want to never forget.

When my girls first come out of thier bedrooms in the morning they have this look. The hair is rumpled,thier faces have a softness about them I always get a good morning cuddle and these are the best. They just lean into me and relax. During the day hugs are fast and they have better things to do but in the morning they are warmed hugs.

Girl #3 handed out kisses the other day without being asked. I was holding her and #2came to attack I mean hold her. #3 leaned over and gave her a kiss. My heart melted. This is genuine love for her sister.

Hearing Mom from your baby for the first time. #3 started saying this at 6 months I love it.

I was folding laundry and putting clothes on the hangers and #2 came and grabbed some and said "Mom since you are sick I will be your helper"

Saying dinner prayer the other night #2 prayed that her Mommy and Daddy would not kiss alot anymore. (she is a funny girl)

2 of my Brothers and 1 Sister in-law have served in Iraq. 1 Brother was there for a total of 3 years. We always pray that they will be safe in Iraq. #2 always prays "please make sure so in so is IN Iraq" it is funny how they change things. We have a friend Brian who got back 2 months ago and they are still praying that he is in Iraq. Soon they will remember he is home.

*****To many times I get bummed that people don't comment on this blog. I have realized I have been having pity parties for myself and nobody was coming.This Blog is for my family and the things that I write will one day be made into a book for us. I have changed my thinking and focus on what this blog is for. It no longer is here to validate me(silly I know) I hope you enjoy these Posts but if not they are for me and my children and I now know that is what matter.

Two Sick Peas in a Pod

I have been hit and run over by a Mac Truck.......I have been sick for a week. Girl#3 has been sick for 2 weeks. I thought hers was because of her fang coming in. (She has 2 bottom teeth and no top but her eye tooth is coming in on top we call it her fang)She has had a runny nose and just not been herself. I have had a cold fer 1 week and went to the Dr. on friday. My Dr. was out of town so I saw another Dr. at the clinic...that was my first mistake. I lvoe my family Dr. but anythor time I see someone else we always have to go back in because it is worse then thought. She told me that they were starting to not perscribe antibiotics for many things so our bodys will learn to fight it. So I left with a sinus infection and some over the counter recommendations. 3 days later I am worse, out of breath walking to the bathroom.

I met up with my friend Brandi for breakfest this morning who just got over Pheumonia (thanks for sharing)and she insisted I go to another Dr.Good thing I did. He says I now have walking phneumonia. Had I waited a few more days it would of been full blown. #3 has a sinus infection and they normally don't treat babys for it. He said 2 weeks is to long....Why do I listen to Dr.'s over my Mommy instinct. So we are both on antibiotics I get the strong stuff hallalua.

I took a picture the other day with my phone because baby and I were in bed sick. I sent it to Mr T in hopes of getting sympathy so he would come home to us but it didn't work. Because I don't want to scare the bejebbers out of anyone I will not post it. It was bad....

The point of this post.... I have no idea I am sick and it has spread to my head I don't even know if it makes sense.....

Cough syrup with codine here I come!!!

Observations

I have been thinking of the differences between Mommy's and Daddy's. Besides the obvious we parent completley different.....

Situation A

Any child that is in school needs to read or be read to for 15 min a day.In my routine I make this happen. Last night after Mr.T got home we headed to Brandi's house to take her dinner and so Mr.T and friend could give her a blessing. She has Pneumonia..anyway her husband is out of town so she wanted me to hang out then I would just drive her car home.I as most Mom's give my instructions to Dad....Have them brush their hair,teeth, put on Jammie's the obvious I know but he still has to be reminded EVERY time. When the girls know that Dad is taking them home they ask if they can watch a movie with Dad. They know how to play him. I say" it is to late by the time you get ready for bed and read it will be time for bed" I think since the Dad is in the room and part of the conversation he will do as I have "suggested". Will I never learn.

This morning when I wake up the girls they tattle as usual... We didn't brush our hair or our teeth. And we got to watch a movie...I ask if they read and that is a big NO. Because I love my husband and don't want everyone to think I am a mean wife I will not say what I told him so back to my observations. As long as kids go to bed they(Dad's) could care less what happens before bed. I know the importance of them reading everyday as well as brushing teeth and such,but is a miner unimportant detail that he always over looks.

Situation B

Girl #3 has always been a good sleeper. Lay her down and you don't hear a peep. Well she is getting a little older and she now is realizing that life will continue outside the door and she doesn't want to miss it. So as I have been putting her down for naps during the day I have to let her complain no crying just wining for a few monutes. Tonight she did not want to go to bed. Last night Daddy let her fall asleep in our bed next to him(remember I was gone) So tonight I laid her down and she started complaining. I just let her I reassure her she is o.k. then left. Between Girl #1&2 and Dad they keep telling me she is "crying" and I need to get her. I leave her. Mr.T keeps saying I'll just lay with her. I know what this leads to and I am not starting this. So I am in the kitchen and I hear that she has stopped whining so I am giving myself a pat on the back as she starts fussing again. Mr.T walks in and Say's"how can you just leave her?" I tell him she only heard him walk by and that is why she is complaining. He then tells me "no I was in there holding her and I just laid her down" AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I think it is so funny how men or maybe just mine can't stand to let them fuss it out. It was breaking his heart. Me being a Mom knows how bad habits start and try to prevent them from happening. So I go back in her room tell her good night and make Dad stay out. After a minute of fussing she is sound asleep.

So my conclusion....
Good thing God created Mom's the way he did or this world would be full of cavity stricken,messy haired, illiterate children who have to sleep with there parents till they are 20.

Visit from the Tooth Fairy 8/10

The night before we left for California Girl#2 discovered she had a loose tooth. She was a little freaked out saying she couldn't eat or go to sleep with this loose tooth. Now anyone that knows this child knows she does not leave things alone. In the car all the way down she was pulling and twisting this tooth intil less then 24 hrs since discovering it she had it out. She now has a gapping hole in her mouth.

One of those Mom's

It is official I am one of those Mom's. When did this happen? When I had my first baby I couldn't imagine a day with out her then with the second the same. As girl #1 started kindergarten I was sad it was all day. I would say I wasn't sure if she was ready but really it was me, I WASN'T READY. So what has happened in 2 years to cause such joy as I drop #1 and #2 off to school today? The idea of some quiet,the things I will be able to get done without "HELP" My house will stay clean for hours. Am I a horrible mom or is this normal?

I truly love my girls and am thankful everyday that I was blessed to have them but I am still happy they aren't underfoot and fighting all the time with each other. It is how life is suppose to be this is preparing them for the future.(that is what I am telling myself to help ease the guilt)

Girl #1 is now in second grade she loves her teacher Mrs.Harris. She is a loop teacher so she will have her for 2nd and 3rd. We met her last night and she is so nurturing and kind #1 will do well.

Girl #2 is in kindergarten she has the same teacher as #1 Mrs.Garza. Last week they had a transition week where #2 went for 3 hours a day with no other grades. On the first day I picked her up Mrs.Garza said"she is definitely not like #1" Now anyone that knows my girls knows this statement to be the complete truth. But Mrs.Garza has figured her out...bribe with the baby dolls...smart woman.

I know that these hours apart will make me love and appreciate the time I will have with them, I am having a twinge of sadness that they are gone....but I will deal with it. Do you here that?....it's quiet.

Kiddo's

While down in California my brother,his wife and there son Kannon who was born the same day as Girl#3 also came from Texas. It was fun to see them especially the cousin twins as we call them..... We went and had some pictures taken....They are so cute!!! Enjoy

***There are 4 other boy cousins missing from this picture :((You will notice this is the same picture as on my header just altered. Did my header picture look off to anyone, I really wasn't sure.)

We really could not resist. They will love us when they are 12!!!! What is interesting is how much smaller my little girl is.

Oh I love this picture...

and this one is so sweet.....I think she looks like Girl#1 in this picture.

She will be even more unhappy with me...oh well it will be worth it.

Catching up

I am home and have been for a week. I have thought many times I need to Blog but then...I don't. I always think I need to have some clever title or say cool things but honestly that happens not very often. I realize I need to just record things that go on because this is my only Journaling I do cause I am lazy like that. So even thought things may not be that interesting to anyone that reads this blog one day my children will appreciate that I can remember various events.

I have a friend name Brandi..our husband's went to college together we only met once in Oregon and it really was in passing. 3 years later Mr.T tells me that they have moved here and Wayne is working with Mr T. He then says we should get together....that is usually where it ends. I am not one that can make easy conversation I tend to be more comfortable in bigger groups so the thought of inviting a perfect stranger to my house was not appealing. Well one day about 7 months later I ran into Brandi and Wayne at Wal-mart of all places. We striked up conversation and said "oh ya we should get together" ...ya right like that will happen. People say that to us all the time but rarely do they follow through. Well they did. After the first dinner we were hooked, Brandi and I hit if off instantly. I have rarely had such easy conversation with anyone...the last time was my friend Natalie who left me and moved to Alaska...anyway.

Long story that needs to get shorter I know.... B&W didn't have a church they went to and of course I invited them to ours but they declined. They eventually found a church that fit them and they were very active. Our families did many things together and most every weekend we did something together. Again 3 years later after each of us going to various activities as each of our churches Brandi started questioning the purpose of life and what her beliefs were. She hadn't even mentioned it to me. Now she Say's she didn't because she knew I would tell her to check out my church...smart girl.

It just so happens we invited her to dinner when we had the missionaries over for dinner. This has happened many time and it has been polite and we move on..Well not this night. Heavenly Father answered her prayers. For the next few weeks she read and learned and continued to receive those answers. Though it was a struggle with how to tell her husband, family and friends she decided to be Baptized. So on Aug 8 she was Baptized by Mr.T. It was an amazing experience one that I will always remember. Being a member all my life I took things for granted. Brandi has shown me what a blessing I have had in my life and to cherish it.
Thank-you Brandi I love ya.

So many things have gone on that I would love to blog about but since I am at my Parents house in California and they still have dial-up my posts will have to wait.It takes me 5 miniuts to sign on then 5 more minutes to pull up email. If they could get it at there house in the country I would be secretly signing them up. So I guess the 3 people that check my blog will have to wait a couple weeks to find out what fabulous things have been going on!!!!!

Oh shots!!!

So Girl#3 is 7 months old so I was a little late for her 6 months check up. That appointment was this morning. Well when I got there the nurse informed me that I had actually also missed her 4 month check up so today she needs her 4 month shots then we go back for her 6 months shots in 2 months. I am such a good mommy.

She had to get 2 shots and after the first one she smiled at the nurse......but not after the second she was not amused.

Here are her stats:::::
16.11 lbs
27 inches long
I am not sure what the percentiles are but she is a petite one....She looks good

Untoothless

Girl #3 has been gnawing on anything she can get her cute little hands on. If there is nothing with in reach she will go for my fingers. This happened Yesterday and ouch a little poke. Yep her front tooth is coming in.This morning as I was feeling it for the 100Th time(don't ask me why I need to keep checking to see if it is still there) I felt another one so now her 2 front bottom teeth are coming in. This is early for my girls they usually don't come in till 9 or 10 months old.

I tried desperately to get a picture of the 2 cute teeth but this is what I got......Apparently she is a little shy about them....

But she is my Baby!!!!

Girl #1 turned 7 on Sunday. I can't believe it. It was yesterday that she was born. Because our first baby was born so early and then passed away I loved and agonized every day of my pregnancy. I cried the whole delivering knowing we had made it so much longer then my precious boy. She healed my heart. Girl #1 was such a happy baby and so easy to care for. Fast forward 7 years and we have a beautiful,loving,bright drama queen (or diary queen as her sister calls her)

I have notice that the birthday present requests are getting expensive. She got a Mp3 player and a set of mini scriptures. I know spoiled. The Mp3 was a must every ride in the car was requests from the back.....CD 5 #25 or CD 3 #5 so on and on. She needs her own music now I can enjoy my music so I thought. Today we get in the car and Girl #2 says"CD 3 #25" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Oh well

I love my girl and want the time to stop. Soon she will be a teenager!!!!

last minute thoughts

I have been sick in bed for 3 1/2 days and Mr.T came home straped Girl#3 in the front pack and is mowing the lawn so what do I do???? Leave (and go to the library ughhh)to go check in to the world of blog.......Tonight is girls night out I call it Mom's Night out because with my 2 older girls they feel they should be able to go...nope not happenin....so I was gonna leave anyway. I have missed so much of my stalking, people are flying, houses are selling...When will the geek fix my computer?????

As I was checking in on a blog I stalk.. I mean read I thought I would just copy it and post it on my blog.I hope that isn't illegal and I won't be shipped to some far away prison. My children really need me . While I was sick there dinner was chips and cherries so I will plead no contest anyway...here it is I thought it was funny hope you do to...
~~~~~~~~~
Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it, ...don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.
Well, should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
It's important that you grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.
I actually don't drink doctor, but chances are my readers are stone cold drunks, so I'll ask this on their behalf...should they reduce their alcohol intake?
No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. So tell your readers, "bottoms up!"
I know they taught this in freshman P.E. but goodness knows I wasn't listening, how can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
(laughs) That's okay, It's really simple. If you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
Eh, I'm gonna get letters about this, but personally I can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!
Aren't fried foods bad for you?
My dear, YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! ..... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?
Again, this question is not for me - but for my readers, will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Is chocolate bad for me?
Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans ! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!
I hear swimming is good for your figure?
If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.
Wow, that last answer really hit home with me...so is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
My dear, 'Round' is a shape!
Lastly, please tell your readers this for me: here is my final word on nutrition and health. I can imagine it must be a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
Therefore, in conclusion: Eat and drink what you like, speaking English is apparently what kills you.
NOT THE LIBRARY AGAIN!!!!
I hate yes I said it HATE computers. We recently purchased a brand new computer because our old one had been set on fire by the teenage boy and never really worked the same. That was 3 months ago and it is already not working it is now at the Best Buy Geek squad. When we purchased the Geek squad package we ASSUMED they fix it right in the store. But no they send it away and now we will be 2-3 weeks with not computer. What ever will I do I will have to work through my blog stock addiction? What will I replace it with??????oh ya clean my house and play with my kids..Not in that order of course. So until some geek fixes my computer I will be cut off from the world or going to the library which is slower then slow.......
Where art thou?
Where have I been you wonder? o.k. I doubt anyone wonders but in my delusional blog mind I think I have many who stalk me the way I stalk them. Again I said delusional....We have been a little busy with various things.
1st School is out and I am in heaven because My lovely Girls are sleeping till 9 am. All but #3 who has now forgotten how to sleep through the night but we will talk about her later...With them sleeping later, the morning is not so long it is only 3 1/2 till we go swimming. So I have a while to bribe my girls to get things done so we can go swim in our borrowed pool (thank-you Smarts aka Petunia Boy and She wolf)
The helpers they become when water is involved.
Because of the hours of swimming girls 1&2 like to cuddle and watch a movie when we get home which gives me time to cook dinner,straighten up and blog stalk.Probably Blog stalk more then the others.
By 8 pm my lovely angels are so tuckered they are in Jammie's lovin on Daddy. Then they crash hard and sleep till 9. The joy is not that I see or have to take care of them less...it is that they are calmer, more helpful and just dang sweet.
2nd of all we have a gorgeous yard. Thanks to 8 pallets of Sod or grass rugs as Austin(6year old family friend) calls them we are green and beautiful.But we are having to use all the water in Washington to get the little roots to grow...but oh it is worth it.With in 2 weeks there will be bare foot frolicking on plush grass.
And introducing E-coli girl....
Little #3 was very sick with a fever of 104 and I couldn't get it down. We found out She has a UTI (bladder infection) caused from Ecoli now how a girl that doesn't poop can get E-coli in her "area" is beyond me but she did. This has caused her to forget how to sleep from 8pm-8am. Apparently it spread to her brain.lol. But she is on meds and making a full recovery lets hope the sleeping recovers.:)
3rd We have visitors who are fleeing a airconditionless home. This happened 2 years ago. We are gonna be opening the down stairs as a B&D(bed and dinner)My kids love having A&A to play with and I enjoy my friend Blondie it makes for a crazier house. But the pool effects A&A the same way.4 tuckered kids is better then 2.
Well now that I have rambled and rambled I am going to make french toast for my brood of 4 who just rolled out of bed....Good Day
Totally UNFAIR
I am not and never have been a morning person. Motherhood doesn't agree with this....but I muster through till the weekend. But it NEVER works in my favor......
Monday through Friday I am practically dragging Girl#1 out of bed at 7:45 to be ready to leave for school by 8:30. "Mom I'm tired,5 more minutes,I"M STRETCHING,I just want to sleep" are a few of the things I hear from her. I then inform her of how many days till she can sleep as long as she likes. Her reply"I am gonna sleep ALL day!!!"
Most mornings Girl#3 will wake up between 6-7 am eat then go back to sleep for about 3 hours (glorious I know)
So why on Saturday is Girl#1 up at 7:00am. I say go back to bed you can sleep. Oh but she can't sleep. So I put on the 1 channel we still have (till June 12Th) CBS has some kid things. The baby wakes up and I feed her all the while thinking as soon as she is done I am going back to bed. Well apparently the girls had a secret meeting and talked the baby into NOT GOING BACK TO BED on Saturday's. Do they not love me.
So here I am the 1 morning I could actually lazily be in bed and my Monster children are torturing me. Good thing I love them.......I hope all of you know my last post was to be funny I am not really getting rid of my children :) and sadly not getting a maid :(
Boogers vs burgers
I was riding in the car with Girls# 2.....I already miss pre-school.....We somehow started talking about boogers and kids eating them. Yes, this is gross. I told her they were gross because they were dirt and slime. Now a few years ago that statement worked with girl#1 and we have never had a problem but........This is girl#2 who replies.."Well there not gross they sell them at Mcdonalds."
Gotta love her.
She's Back
Girl# 3 is by far my happiest and easiest baby and I have had easy babies. The last week has been a hard one for my sweet girl.With an ear infection, teething and new medicine for pooping she has been a little out of sorts. I decided to keep her home from church today because she was getting into these screaming fits and that just didn"t need to happen at church.....I am glad I did
She slept all day making up for the lack of sleep WE have been getting. Her last nap she woke up smiling so I knew she was back.
We even enjoyed dinner outside tonight. I forgot how awful it is for baby's to be sick and not be able to comfort them. I am just so glad we are blessed with antibiotics.....
